Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
